Beach Clean-up

MSA has joined with the Keep Manatee Beautiful organization’s Adopt-a-Shore Program.

The Adopt-A-Shore Program coordinates efforts relating to litter, marine debris and their effects on water quality. Under this program, MSA has adopted a section of shoreline on AMI and will clean it at least three times a year for two years.

What: Keep Manatee Beautiful Shore Clean-up

When: Saturday, March 13 @ 8: 30 am

Where: Meet at Rod and Reel Pier, cleanup from Rod and Reel to Bean Point

Clean up equipment will be provided, picnic to follow. MSA will provide sandwiches and soft drinks, please bring a side dish to share.

Come join fellow MSA’ers for our first event of 2010 as we celebrate the New Year and welcome in our officers for the exciting upcoming year. The evening’s Cuban inspired menu includes:

MSA Christmas Party

Once again, Mary an Don Burkhardt will host our Christmas party. Mary and Don will provide the meat and the club will provide ice, mixers and softdrinks. Members should bring a side dish and BYOB. Check out the November Gale Tales for more details.

Taste of Manatee

Join us at the Twin dolphin Marina for this year's Taste of Manatee. This is a 2-day event celebration featuring great food and entertainment. MSA will have a booth to provide prospective members information on our sailing club.

MSA Halloween Howel andHarvest Moon Regatta

Meet fellow sailors around 10:45 AM at R"2" Manatee River for an 11:00 AM race start. The course will be determined by the prevailing winds and will end near the bridge. Our Halloween Howl begins at 4:00 PM in the MSA hospitality suite.
