Venice Cruise

Our cruise event for June will take us to the Crow's Nest marina in Venice. Cruisers, both sail and land, should plan on arriving around 7:00 PM. After a few boat drinks we plan on dining at the marina restaurant. Some cruisers will be anchoring in Marvista Friday night. So come and join the fun.

AMI Beach Cleanup & Picnic

MSA has joined with the Keep Manatee Beautiful organization’s Adopt-a-Shore Program. After the clean-up will be our annual MSA picnic at Bayfront Park.

The Adopt-A-Shore Program coordinates efforts relating to litter, marine debris and their effects on water quality. Under this program, MSA has adopted a section of shoreline on AMI and will clean it at least three times a year for two years.

What: Keep Manatee Beautiful Shore Clean-up

When: Saturday, July 17 @ 8: 30 am

Where: Meet at Rod and Reel Pier, cleanup from Rod and Reel to Bean Point

Yes, it's our monthly meeting. Join us at Firkin and Fox for dinner and drinks. Here the tales of Commodor's April BVI adventure. Come around 6:00 PM if you plan to have dinner. The meeting starts at 7:00 PM.

Mystery Sail

There will be a secret rendezvous at G"3" by Egmont Key at 11:00 AM May 8th. At that point sensitive information will be revealed to you. You will be kept overnight at a place that will be disclosed at the proper time... that is if you follow directions to the letter. Bring your charts and navigation tools and in the event you stumble upon the anchorage, bring an appetizer to share and your beverage.

Land yachts can call the super sleuths (Ed and Betty Burton 941.518.4494 or 941.518.4493) to get the secret information so they can solve the mystery too, and join in the fun.

Island Poker Regatta

Join in the 7th Annual Terra Ceia Island Poker Regatta on May 1

Bring your kayak or canoe and paddle toward disignated card pick-up points in Miquel Bay and Critical Bayou. Beginner, intermediate and exper paddlwers are welcome. The event is sponsored by the Village Improvement Association and the funds raised will help maintain Seebreeze Park.

Registration is 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at Seebreeze Park and the race starts at 9:30 AM.
